JDI Legal - Newcastle legal recruitment consultancy have a brand new instruction for a small city centre firm of solicitors who are looking to add to their dedicated team.
A small friendly and respected firm, operating from centrally located offices in the heart of the city, are looking to recruit a qualified solicitor or CILEX. This role is full time and will involve inheriting a multi-disciplinary caseload consisting of general civil litigation, private family and even possibly some transactional work, guidance can be offered.
Its a full time role for a motivated solicitor / fee earner who is interested in broadening their specialism or has a particular interest in one of the key areas. The directors are open to considering a range of experience as with it being a small business, the right fit of individual is essential.
A firm committed to delivering a high rate of client care and building strong relationships with their client base, who are more often than not, are locally based.
The work would involve :
A diverse range of disputes, including contract breaches, landlord-tenant issues, and property-related claims and some injury work to include accidents, workplace incidents, and possibly some medical negligence. As well as Divorce, child arrangement disputes, and financial settlements.
The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive and become an integral part of the business and be encouraged to continue their professional development.
A qualified Solicitor with a valid practising certificate is essential OR Cilex Membership.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably multi-disciplinary.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Committed to delivering a high rate of client care.
- IT literate
- A commitment to professional development.
