Precision Craftsperson
We are looking for a practical, highly detail-oriented Precision Craftsperson to join our modern workshop team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with their hands, has excellent attention to detail and takes genuine pride in producing work to a very high standard.
Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial, but it is not essential. We are particularly interested in people who have developed strong practical skills through engineering, manufacturing, model making, watchmaking, dental technology, restoration, fine craft, assembly or other precision-based work.
You will work alongside experienced craftspeople, learning specialist techniques and processes while developing the skills required to produce consistently accurate, high-quality work.
Duties
- Carry out detailed, intricate hands-on work on small components and products.
- Assemble, adjust, finish and prepare items to a consistently high standard.
- Use specialist hand tools and workshop equipment accurately and safely.
- Carry out precise measuring, fitting and adjustment of small components.
- Work carefully with valuable materials where accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
- Inspect your own work and identify imperfections before work progresses to the next stage.
- Learn specialist manufacturing, repair, finishing and assembly techniques.
- Follow established workshop processes and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional working environment.
- Work closely with experienced craftspeople and the wider production team.

Experience in engineering, precision manufacturing, watchmaking, dental technology, model making, restoration, instrument making, fine craft or another detailed hands-on environment would be advantageous, but full specialist training can be provided to the right person.
