Exciting opportunity to join our reception team at Conanvet!
Conanvet is an independent mixed Veterinary Practice, operating for 90 years and covering an area the size of Belgium.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their animals, providing exceptional customer service.
We require a new receptionist who will:
· Be a friendly, fun and enthusiastic part of our welcoming team of 10 receptionists!
· Have excellent communication skills and telephone manner with our clients and team
· Show empathy to pets and their owners, with compassion and professionalism at all times
· Be able to adapt and be flexible to suit our busy, changing mixed practice schedule
· Remain calm under pressure in difficult situations within a fast-paced environment
· Be confident using computers and learning new systems (All training provided)
· Be available for 8 hour shifts between 8am-7pm weekdays & 8-1 Saturdays (1:5 rota)
· Driving license preferrable (Branches in Conon Bridge, Dingwall & Fortrose)
Duties would include:
· Answering client queries by phone, email and messaging service Petsapp
· Managing appointments on our computerised booking system
· Welcoming and checking-in clients and their pets on arrival
· Scheduling follow up appointments and processing payments on their departure
· Administration tasks including responding to emails, laboratory reports and prescription requests, enrolling pets to our Pet Wellness Plans, processing practice orders and more
· Handling emergency calls and communicating in a swift, efficient manner with all the other departments (vets, nurses, farm/equine & admin)
· Ensuring the reception area is kept clean and presentable at all times
