We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and proactive Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team for four days per week (12.15 pm to 3.20 pm fixed term 31/08/2027). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development and who wants to play a key role in helping all pupils achieve their full potential. This role will include a lunchtime duty. (

About the role
As an LSA, you will:

work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to support pupils with a range of needs
-
provide targeted support to individuals or small groups, helping to deliver interventions and adapted learning
-
build positive relationships with pupils to develop confidence, engagement, and independence
-
support the creation of a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
-
contribute to assessment and progress monitoring through observations and feedback.
We are looking for someone who:

is proactive and takes initiative in supporting learning

has a strong work ethic and is committed, reliable, and willing to contribute fully to school life

has a positive, nurturing approach with children of all abilities and backgrounds

demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills

is patient, flexible, and resilient, with a good sense of humour

is committed to inclusion and believes in every child’s potential

is keen to grow and develop professionally as part of a supportive team

has appropriate literacy and mathematics qualifications (or equivalent).
Experience working in schools or with children with additional needs is desirable but not essential, training will be provided for the right candidate.
