About the Role
Justteachers are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Childcare Teacher to join a further education college in Wakefield. This exciting opportunity involves teaching students studying Childcare and Early Years qualifications and preparing them for successful careers within the sector. The successful candidate will use their industry knowledge and teaching expertise to deliver engaging lessons, support learner achievement, and help students develop the practical and theoretical skills required for employment or further study.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Childcare and Early Years lessons.
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Support learners in achieving qualification goals.
- Develop teaching materials and resources.
- Monitor attendance, progress, and achievement.
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality standards.
Requirements
- Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
- Relevant Childcare or Early Years qualification.
- Experience within education or the childcare sector.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong subject knowledge.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Pay: £15.00-£35.00 per day
