About Us: We are a busy and growing cake bakery based in Leeds. We pride ourselves on baking high-quality, delicious cakes for local businesses. As our business expands, we are looking for a reliable and careful Van Delivery Driver to join our team and help us get our bakes safely to our shop partners.
The Role: You will be the face of our bakery on the road! Starting your day at our Leeds bakery, you will load up the van and deliver our cakes to various shops across Leeds, Bradford, and York. Because you will be transporting delicate baked goods, a smooth and careful driving style is absolutely essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carefully loading and securing fragile cakes into the delivery van.
- Safely driving designated routes across Leeds, Bradford, and York.
- Delivering orders to our shop partners accurately and on time.
- Providing friendly and professional service when dropping off goods.
- Carrying out basic daily vehicle checks to keep the van clean and roadworthy.
What We Are Looking For:
- A valid UK Driving Licence (with no more than 3 penalty points).
- Care and Attention: You must be a smooth driver who understands how to transport fragile goods without damaging them.
- Punctuality, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Good knowledge of the road networks around West and North Yorkshire.
