Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Worker to serve as a vital spiritual guide within our community. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide spiritual support, mentorship, and leadership to individuals of all ages. Duties
- Support the delivery of church services, prayer meetings, Bible studies and other religious activities.
- Participate in Christian teaching, discipleship, religious education and faith-development programmes.
- Support evangelism, missionary work and Christian outreach within the local community.
- Assist with worship activities, including preparing services and supporting congregational participation.
- Work alongside pastors and other ministry workers to support the church's religious mission.
- Maintain appropriate records of activities and report on ministry work to church leadership.
Experience
- Proven experience in teaching religious principles and leading faith-based activities
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing groups or community programs
- Strong communication skills to effectively connect with diverse audiences of all ages
- Ability to mentor individuals through personal or spiritual challenges with sensitivity and empathy
- Experience organizing fundraising events or initiatives to support community projects
