Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their enquiries in a professional manner
- Promote products through upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities
- Manage social media platforms by posting updates and engaging with followers to enhance brand presence
- Organise merchandise displays to attract customer attention and optimise sales potential
- Handle transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, including processing payments and issuing receipts
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering calls and assisting remote customers
- Assist with stock replenishment and ensure the sales floor remains tidy and well-organised
- Support the team in achieving daily sales targets and maintaining high standards of customer service
Experience
- Previous retail or customer service experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for engaging with customers confidently
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Experience in social media management is a plus for contributing to our online presence
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritising tasks during weekend shifts to ensure smooth operations
- Knowledge of merchandising principles will be beneficial in creating appealing displays
