Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Job Coach to inspire and empower individuals on their journey toward employment success. In this vital role, you will serve as a mentor, guide, and motivator, helping clients develop essential skills, build confidence, and achieve their career goals. Your energetic approach will foster a positive environment where learners feel supported and motivated to reach their full potential. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while honing your mentoring and teaching abilities.
Responsibilities
- Undertake initial assessments to paint a picture of learner strengths and needs to ignite their journey
- Provide personalised coaching to clients, focusing on their strengths and areas for growth to prepare them for employment opportunities
- Develop tailored action plans that include skill-building activities, interview preparation, and workplace readiness strategies
- Offer ongoing mentoring, encouragement, and support to help clients overcome challenges and stay motivated throughout their job search process
- Collaborate with employers, community organisations, families, carers and other stakeholders to identify suitable job placements and training opportunities
- Track client progress through documentation and regular check-ins to ensure continuous development and goal achievement
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes confidence, independence, and self-advocacy among learners
Skills
- Experience in mentoring or coaching roles with a strong ability to motivate others
- Experience working with children or young adults in educational or community settings
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with learners from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to develop creative solutions tailored to individual needs and learning styles
- Organized with the capacity to manage multiple client cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

We offer 25 days holiday a year (3 to be taken during Christmas shut down).
Pay: £27,000.00 per year
