Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Industrial Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction and manufacturing tasks, supporting the smooth operation of our site. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new skills in a dynamic environment. Previous experience with hand tools, power tools, or construction work is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials using manual handling techniques
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Support construction activities such as mixing materials, assembling components, and preparing work areas
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety standards are met
- Help with site clearance, waste disposal, and general labouring tasks as required
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to minimise risks on site
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction or labouring roles is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is desirable
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks
- Must be able to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures on construction sites
