Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial settings
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to health and safety standards
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used efficiently and stored properly after use
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning to management promptly
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning procedures and standards
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role
