Location: Barns Green, West Sussex
Bubbles Swim School is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic STA/SEQ Level 2 Swim Teacher who also holds the Teaching Swimming to Babies and Toddlers qualification.
This role involves delivering high-quality swimming lessons to children from 8 weeks to 14 years, helping them develop confidence, technique and lifelong swimming skills.
Hours
Saturdays: 1:00 pm – 5:30 pm
Sundays: 1:30pm - 5:30pm
Pay
- £30.00 per hour (regular teaching)
- £38.00 per hour (cover teaching)

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, structured swimming lessons.
- Teach Discovery Ducklings, Duckling Levels and Stages 1–5.
- Work independently while maintaining high teaching standards.
- Create a positive, safe and encouraging learning environment.
- Use constructive, age-appropriate feedback to support progression.
- Assess new swimmers during trial lessons.
- Continuously monitor progress and award Swim England badges, stroke and distance awards.
- Support swimmers in progressing through the Swim England Learn to Swim pathway.
- Communicate regularly with parents where appropriate.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- SEQ Level 2 Swimming Teacher (or equivalent)
- SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming to Babies and Toddlers (or equivalent)
- NRASTC (or equivalent teacher rescue qualification)
- Current enhanced DBS check
- Full UK driving licence
- Minimum 2 years' experience independently teaching babies, toddlers and children up to 14 years of age
