Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of staff and volunteers to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets
- Oversee daily shop operations, including opening, closing, stock management, and merchandising to ensure an attractive shopping environment
- Manage inventory intake, pricing, and display to maximize donations’ value and sales potential
- Supervise staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and efficient team
- Maintain accurate administrative records such as sales reports, donation logs, and stock levels
- Cultivate positive relationships with supporters, donors, and the local community to boost engagement and donations
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, store policies, and procedures at all times
Experience
- Proven management experience in retail or charity shop environments with a focus on team supervision
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide staff and volunteers effectively
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse communities
- Demonstrated success in merchandising, sales management, and achieving financial goals
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Previous administrative experience including record keeping, reporting, and phone etiquette
- Experience in supervising staff or volunteers within retail or community-based organizations is preferred

Pay: £25,420.00-£43,000.00 per year
