Kitchen Assistant – Swim, Lyme Regis
Swim sits right on the seafront of Lyme Regis, perched along Marine Parade with unbeatable views over the Jurassic Coast. From sunrise coffees to cocktails at sundown, we serve great food, great drinks, and a relaxed, buzzing atmosphere — all with the sea practically at the door.
We’re a busy, all‑day café‑bar serving breakfast favourites, burgers, seafood, and seasonal dishes. Now we’re looking for a Kitchen Assistant who brings energy, pride, and a willingness to get stuck in. If you’ve worked in a kitchen before — even briefly — or you’re keen to learn, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the chefs with prep across breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and running smoothly
- Helping with basic cooking tasks when needed
- Washing up and maintaining clean equipment
- Keeping stock areas tidy and well‑organised
- Following food safety standards
- Bringing energy, reliability, and pride to every shift
What We’re Looking For
- Some kitchen experience is great — but not essential
- Confidence with basic kitchen tasks (or a willingness to learn fast)
- A cool head when the pace picks up
- Someone organised, reliable, and detail‑driven
- Happy to work evenings, weekends, and peak‑season shifts
- A team player who enjoys a laugh and a good service
