About the Role
We are looking for an experienced job running Senior Technologist with strong Revit skills and a proven track record of delivering projects to join our Manchester studio.
As Senior Technologist you will create drawn information, write full specifications, coordinate schemes and regularly lead or manage small teams internally. You will need to manage your own workload in addition to supervising and mentoring others. We are looking for someone with lateral thinking, clear communication, and collaborative spirit to our design and delivery processes.
Requirements
About You
You will be a collaborative and highly motivated technical professional who cares about creating and delivering great buildings and places.
We are looking for someone who has:
A Degree or HND qualification in a relevant discipline.
CIAT registration, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Excellent drawing and specification-writing skills.
Proven experience in running projects and coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams.
The ability to lead small internal project teams and manage your own workload alongside supervising others.
A desire to share experience and knowledge, supporting the development of colleagues across the practice.
Skills and Experience
An in-depth working knowledge of Revit.
A working knowledge of NBS Chorus.
Proven experience in producing, analysing and advising upon specifications, material selection and detailed design solutions in relation to performance and production criteria.
Experience in taking a brief and developing initial proposals for technical delivery stages.
Experience in producing, managing, controlling and integrating design and production information.
Experience in ensuring compliance with design, legal, statutory and professional requirements for large, complex or multiple projects.
Experience in monitoring the financial performance of projects.
Relevant experience within the Education, Technology or Defence sectors.
