Office Manager
Star Bodies NW Ltd – Fleetwood
We are looking for an experienced, organised and confident Office Manager to join our busy team at Star Bodies NW Ltd.
This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys dealing with customers, keeping things organised and making sure the office runs smoothly from start to finish.
The role will include:
- Welcoming customers into the business and providing a friendly, professional service
- Discussing customers’ requirements and selling our repair services
- Pricing and quoting jobs
- Booking vehicles into the diary and managing appointments
- Ordering parts and liaising with suppliers
- Creating invoices and processing job paperwork
- Taking incoming calls and dealing with customer enquiries
- Chasing outstanding invoices and payments
- General office administration and maintaining accurate records
- Managing the daily diary and coordinating jobs
- Dealing with our taxi customers and drivers
- Managing taxi meters and assisting with the setting up and installation of taxi equipment
- Working closely with the workshop team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently
- Helping to keep the day-to-day operation of the business running smoothly
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
- Organised and reliable
- Confident dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone
- Comfortable discussing prices and selling services
- Able to work independently and use their own initiative
- Confident using computers and general office systems
- Good at multitasking and able to work in a busy environment
- Professional, friendly and approachable
- Commercially minded with good attention to detail
- Ideally experienced in an automotive, workshop or similar environment, although this is not essential for the right person
Automotive experience would be an advantage, but attitude, organisation and customer service skills are just as important.
