Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Care Navigator/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This vital role involves providing exceptional front-desk support while assisting patients in navigating our services. The successful candidate will be organised, compassionate, and capable of managing administrative tasks efficiently. Prior office or administrative experience is desirable, but full training will be provided to the right candidate. Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming environment
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow effectively
- Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff members
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed
- Assist with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and processing documentation
- Support the care team with organisational tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy and professional at all times
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations
Qualifications
- Previous office or administrative experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
- Proficient in the use of standard office software and equipment
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in patient care
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
Pay: £12.71 per hour
