Skipper's Pet Products is a growing UK manufacturer of natural fish treats for dogs, based in Grimsby.

The role
You will be the Factory Manager's Assistant. When the Manager is off site, you take charge and keep everything running. This is a hands-on leadership role with real responsibility from day one.
Day to day you will:
- Deputise for the Factory Manager and hold full responsibility in their absence
- Organise and set up factory production lines each day
- Handle daily office and admin tasks for the manufacturing department, including stock admin, submitting daily production figures, production planning, and printing labels
- Keep all manufacturing paperwork accurate and fully up to date
- Communicate clearly with production staff and give clear instructions
- Step onto any production line and work alongside the team if and when needed
- Solve problems quickly and keep production moving under pressure
- Work towards company goals and targets

You will also need
- Good communication skills, with the confidence to give clear instructions
- Experience in a factory, production, or manufacturing environment
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience preferred
- Confident admin and basic IT skills
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance record
- The right to work in the UK
