We are currently seeking applications for the position of Receptionist/Customer Support Agent working within the Customer Support Team in our Sheffield Head Office.
Main Purpose of the Role
· Taking and directing calls to the relevant channels or individuals.
· Greeting visitors to the building warmly and offering them support.
- To assist members of the department, and other departments, with any Customer Service issues which may arise.
- Providing cover for the Spaceslide Showroom.
Key Responsibilities
· Notify relevant employees when visitors arrive.
· Answer visitor’s questions, calls, and emails and provide them with the relevant information.
· Follow security procedures, such as monitoring the visitor logbook and issuing visitor badges.
· Organise the reception area while complying with office procedures, rules and regulations.
· Provide cover for our Showroom in the absence of the Showroom Manager, maintaining good product knowledge and communicating customer enquiries as appropriate.
· Manage the purchase and supply of office stationery and other sundry items.
· Sign for deliveries and ensure all mail and packages are distributed accordingly.
- Accurately Process orders on internal Microsoft AX system
- Complete various Sales and order book Reports as and when required.
- Issue the department’s weekly whereabouts to provide an awareness of colleague’s comings and goings.
- Ensure all Voicemail recordings are up to date and set for the bank holiday and closure periods.
- Frank outgoing post and create DHL labels.
- Provide access to the yard to all delivery drivers when they arrive on site.
Knowledge & Experience
- Experience working within a similar role in Reception/Sales Administration would be desirable.
- Retail or similar experience, giving experience of customer contact in person, on the phone and via email and working towards achieving excellent Customer Service.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Strong IT skills in MS Office, which are utilised daily when completing reports and updating databases using excel.
- Experience with Microsoft AX or other similar systems would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organisational and problem solving skills.
- Enthusiastic, flexible and reliable, with the ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously
- Attention to detail & good level of initiative

Pay: £25,000.00-£25,500.00 per year
