We’re a friendly, family-run country pub serving great food in a relaxed atmosphere. We pride ourselves on cooking classic pub favourites using quality ingredients and delivering excellent customer service. We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Chef / Kitchen Hand to join our kitchen team.
The Role
You’ll play an important part in our busy kitchen, helping prepare and cook traditional pub meals while ensuring the kitchen remains clean, organised and running smoothly. Whether you’re an experienced chef or someone with kitchen experience looking to develop your skills, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
* Preparing and cooking classic pub meals to a high standard.
* Assisting with food preparation and daily kitchen duties.
* Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen.
* Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
* Washing dishes and kitchen equipment when required.
* Receiving deliveries and rotating stock.
* Working as part of a team during busy service periods.
* Helping deliver consistently great food to our customers.
About You
* Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential.
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
Pay: £12.71-£16.00 per hour
