Why Work With Us?
The Environment: Our London office is based in the City, close to Moorgate and Liverpool Street. We value a professional but collaborative environment where people can focus, exchange ideas, and take ownership of meaningful work.
Strategic Influence: Operations is central to how we deliver value. You will have direct involvement in business planning, performance improvement, resource strategy, and operational decision making.
Modern Approach: We use modern reporting platforms, collaborative planning tools, and data driven processes to understand performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Professional Growth: We support continuous development through industry events, professional training, leadership programmes, and opportunities to work across different client and business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Operations Ownership: Develop and implement operational strategies that support company objectives, improve efficiency, and create sustainable business growth.
Business Performance: Establish performance frameworks, operational metrics, and reporting processes that provide leadership with clear and actionable business insights.
Process Improvement: Identify operational gaps and lead initiatives that simplify workflows, reduce unnecessary costs, and improve service delivery.
Cross Functional Leadership: Coordinate strategic initiatives across commercial, finance, technology, people, and client delivery teams to ensure priorities are executed effectively.
Planning and Resource Management: Support annual planning, forecasting, capacity planning, and resource allocation to ensure the organisation is positioned for continued growth.
Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and communicate operational recommendations, risks, opportunities, and progress in a clear and commercially focused manner.
Team Development: Mentor and support operations professionals, establish clear objectives, and promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: 8+ years of experience in operations, business transformation, strategy, management consulting, or a related commercial environment, with significant experience leading strategic initiatives.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross functional teams and influence senior stakeholders without relying solely on formal authority.
Strategic Thinking: You can connect long term business objectives with practical operational plans and measurable outcomes.
Analytical Skills: Strong experience working with performance data, financial information, operational metrics, and business reporting to support informed decisions.
Commercial Mindset: You understand how operational decisions affect revenue, costs, customer experience, risk, and overall business performance.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex operational topics clearly to clients, colleagues, and senior stakeholders.
Mindset: You are pragmatic, commercially aware, and comfortable making decisions in a changing environment. You know when a process needs refinement, when a problem requires deeper investigation, and when it is time to move forward and execute.
