We are looking for a Female Health Care Assistant to join our friendly domiciliary care team. This is a genuine occupational requirement due to the personal care needs and preferences of the individuals we support.
As a Health Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to people in their own homes, helping them to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.
What You'll Do
- Provide personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting.
- Assist with medication in accordance with care plans and company policies.
- Prepare meals and support with nutrition and hydration.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with moving and handling where required.
- Complete accurate electronic care records using a mobile device.
- Report any concerns or changes in clients' wellbeing.
- Travel between clients' homes and ensure safe, person-centred care at every visit.
What We're Looking For
- Full UK driving licence.
- Access to a reliable vehicle (preferred if using your own vehicle).
- Good spoken and written English.
- Compassionate, respectful and reliable nature.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible to work mornings, evenings and alternate weekends.
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
