Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 4:30pm
£13.21 an hour
Overtime available, including weekends on a rota basis.

GenTech Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Weighbridge Operative to join a busy quarry operation based in Dromore.

The Role
As a Weighbridge Operative, you will play a key role in coordinating customer orders, supporting transport operations and ensuring the efficient movement of materials. Working closely with the Transport Manager, you will liaise with customers, drivers and internal teams to ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with customers regarding delivery dates, times and site directions.
- Receive and process customer orders for aggregates and bituminous products.
- Work closely with the Transport Manager to ensure the efficient utilisation of the vehicle fleet.
- Handle customer sales enquiries professionally.
- Respond to customer queries promptly and effectively.
- Provide excellent after-sales support.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is completed correctly.
- Build strong working relationships with customers and colleagues.
Essential Requirements
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade C or equivalent).
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Competent IT skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads and work to deadlines.
- A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
- Full driving licence and own transport.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a despatch, weighbridge, transport or logistics role.
- Knowledge of the construction, quarrying or aggregates industry.
