Swanpool Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Dispenser to help us in daily running of our pharmacy. The successful candidate will be responsible for filling prescriptions, ensuring they are ready to be picked up by customers, and helping customers with any questions they may have. Swanpool Pharmacy is looking for a flexible, energetic individual who enjoys customer service and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a pleasant attitude while delivering compassionate and competent customer care to patients and guests in the pharmacy.
- Accurately receive, store, and distribute medications as prescribed.
- Perform medication safety checks and record results in the medical record.
- Dispense generic/brand medications as directed by prescriber.
- Handle drug information and maintain a drug reference chart for all employees to use.
- Assist pharmacist/colleagues with other dispensing duties as needed.
Pay: £12.80-£14.00 per hour
