We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House to join staff member to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a lively restaurant environment, ensuring guests enjoy memorable dining experiences.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Take orders from customers accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of food and drinks
- Provide attentive table service, attending to guests’ needs throughout their visit
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using the point-of-sale system
- Restock supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies, including checking IDs where necessary
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, fostering a welcoming environment
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Excellent serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately
- Effective time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and guests
- A personable attitude with a genuine enthusiasm for hospitality and guest engagement
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.71 per hour
