Responsibilities
- Providing a wide range of hair styling services including cuts, colour, blow-drying, and specialised treatments
- Assisting clients in choosing suitable styles and haircare products based on their preferences and hair type
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the salon environment
- Managing appointment schedules efficiently and ensuring timely service delivery
- Upselling retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Handling front desk duties including greeting clients, managing bookings, and processing payments
- Building strong relationships with clients through excellent communication skills and personalised service
Skills
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of work
- Knowledge of store management principles is advantageous
- Barbering skills are desirable for versatile styling options
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Experience in eyelash extensions, makeup application, or other specialised beauty treatments is a plus
- Ability to upsell products tactfully to maximise sales opportunities
- Strong organisational skills to manage appointments and maintain salon standards
- Mentoring abilities to support team development and skill enhancement
- Excellent communication skills to ensure clear understanding of client needs and preferences
