As a Programme Manager within our Scotland Healthcare Projects & Lifecycle Team, you'll play a key role in managing and coordinating technical projects and lifecycle programmes across major healthcare facilities, bringing together project teams, operational stakeholders and customers to drive successful outcomes.
You'll oversee the planning, coordination and governance of technical projects and lifecycle programmes across major healthcare sites. You'll play a central role in bringing together project teams, operational colleagues and customers to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with strategic priorities.

What you'll do as a Programme Manager
You'll be entrusted to:

Act as the central coordination point for lifecycle, capital and project programmes across Scotland and support in the leadership of project delivery.

Provide key pre start materials, delivery coordination packs and work closely with sub-contractor and site teams to ensure alignment with RIBA and other key stage gates.

Provide portfolio oversight of live, planned and pipeline projects, driving prioritisation, performance and alignment with customer and business objectives.

Lead programme reviews and coordinate stakeholder engagement to support successful project delivery.

Manage programme-level risks, issues, dependencies and actions, ensuring appropriate escalation and resolution.

Support the commercial close-out of completed projects, working with Project Managers and central support functions to ensure timely invoicing, financial governance and project closure.

Support lifecycle investment planning, project prioritisation and financial forecasting activities alongside the Lifecycle & Projects Lead.

Drive continuous improvement across programme management, governance and delivery processes.

You'll be a great fit for this role if you have…

Experience in programme management, lifecycle planning, project controls or portfolio management within a technical, engineering, facilities management, construction or healthcare environment.

Strong knowledge of the RIBA Plan of Work and an understanding of lifecycle asset management principles.

Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and coordinating a range of stakeholders and contractors.

Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret project, financial and performance data.

Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on building trust and delivering positive outcomes.
