The Project Manager (PM) will work alongside the Programme Manager to implement projects in accordance with our methodology to ensure successful completion as measured by time, cost, quality and customer satisfaction. The PM will manage delivery and mitigate risks in support of the Project Owner’s objectives.
The PM will work in the PMO core team and coordinate the efforts of teams drawn from across multiple business departments.
This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to be in our Woking office at least three days per week. As a collaborative and fast-moving team, we’ve found that in-person interaction plays a key role in successful onboarding, knowledge sharing, and team culture—so we welcome candidates who enjoy being in the office more regularly.
Your Responsibilities
- Create project plans and monitor progress
- Provide project status updates to stakeholders
- Ensure project administration is completed
- Management of project risks, actions, and issue registers
- Maintain processes to ensure project management documentation, reports and plans are relevant, appropriate to the complexity, accurate and complete
- Build relationships with stakeholders and brokering relationships at all levels
- Any other tasks as required
The Skills and Experience You’ll Need
Essential
- Awareness of project manager competences and knowledge of tools and techniques leading to successful project delivery
- Understanding of project delivery and quality gate acceptance processes within a fast-paced, Agile business environment
- Must be pro-active and flexible
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Attention to detail, in checking and challenging information provided
- Excellent oral and written communication as well as presentation skills with the ability to conduct presentations comfortably to large groups
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in a Project Management role preferred
- Seeking highly motivated individual with a strong desire to affect change
- Sound administrative background within a detail-oriented environment
- Hybrid working model: minimum 3 days per week in our Woking office
Desirable
- PRINCE2 certification
- Background in working within both business and IT-related projects/programmes.
- Experience within Payments industry advantageous
- Preference for candidates who value and enjoy in-person collaboration
Pay: £38,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
