Our client, a well-established firm within the food manufacturing and distribution industry, based in Tewkesbury, has an exciting new opportunity for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their team.
The successful Counterbalance Forklift Driver should have:
- A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (within the last 3 years)
- Previous experience working as a Counterbalance Forklift Driver in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- A flexible and reliable attitude to meet varying shift patterns
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
In this role, the Counterbalance Forklift Driver will be responsible for:
- Operating a counterbalance forklift to safely load, unload and move goods
- Accurately picking and preparing orders for distribution
- Completing stock rotation and replenishment tasks
- Supporting safe loading of vehicles for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
Our client is offering the successful Counterbalance Forklift Driver a starting salary of £13.63 per hour, increasing with training (up to £14.00 per hour), working 37.5 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern (start times between 04:00 – 09:00, Monday to Saturday), plus benefits including 30 days holiday allowance (increasing with service), overtime paid at 1.25x, pension scheme, health and wellbeing support, and career progression opportunities.
