Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Junior Freight Forwarder to join our dynamic Road Freight team. In this role, you will be the vital link between clients and suppliers, ensuring seamless coordination of freight shipments across European Road Freight transportation. Your proactive approach and strong organisational skills will help optimize supply chain operations, maintain compliance with regulations, and deliver exceptional service to our partners. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate import and export shipments from booking through to delivery.
- Liaise within the team, customers, hauliers, customs agents and overseas offices.
- Prepare and check shipping and customs documentation.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively update customers.
- Arrange collections and deliveries with partners.
- Enter shipment details accurately into internal systems.
- Maintain accurate shipment files and records.
- Support invoicing and supplier invoice checking.
- Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
