We’re looking for an ambitious Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at The Plough, Elstree.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Chef de Partie ready to take the next step, or an existing Junior Sous Chef looking to develop further within a busy fresh-food kitchen.
The Plough is a high-volume, food-led pub with a strong focus on quality ingredients, consistency and great service. Working closely with our Head Chef and Sous Chef, you’ll be part of a passionate team delivering dishes across our restaurant, bar and garden service.
The Role
- Supporting senior chefs during busy services
- Taking responsibility for sections within the kitchen
- Assisting with prep, service and kitchen organisation
- Helping maintain food safety and hygiene standards
- Learning stock management and kitchen administration
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
