Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Cook. Duties
- Prepare a variety of dishes following established recipes and standards
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
- Cook food items ensuring proper presentation and taste
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations
- Serve food to customers efficiently and courteously
- Support in inventory management by checking stock levels and replenishing supplies as needed
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent service and uphold the establishment’s reputation
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
- Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour when serving customers
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends if required
