Audit Senior | Widnes | £DOE
Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a highly regarded and ambitious regional firm of chartered accountants in Widnes who are looking to recruit an Audit Senior to join their growing team.
The Role
You will lead audits across a range of clients - primarily SME's & OMB's - with responsibilities including:
- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Managing audits for small and medium-sized clients
- Taking responsibility for key audit areas on larger and more complex engagements
- Preparing audit planning documentation and analytical reviews
- Completing going concern assessments and other audit procedures
- Reviewing and providing feedback on junior team members’ work
- Acting as a key point of contact for audit clients & resolving client queries whilst maintaining strong relationships
About You
- ACA / ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified (QBE also consider DOE)
- Previous audit experience gained within an accountancy practice is essential
- Strong technical audit knowledge and attention to detail
- Confident supervising and developing junior team members
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Commercially aware with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
- Proactive approach with a desire to progress within practice
