About the Role
Connors Sites UK is seeking a safety-focused and experienced Scaffolding Installer to support construction projects across Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures in accordance with project requirements and applicable safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and dismantle scaffolding systems safely and efficiently.
- Inspect scaffolding components before installation and use.
- Install platforms, guardrails, braces, and access systems.
- Follow construction drawings, site plans, and safety procedures.
- Maintain secure and stable scaffolding structures.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and construction teams.
- Report damaged equipment or unsafe conditions immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Previous scaffolding or construction experience preferred.
- Good understanding of scaffolding safety practices.
- Ability to work safely at height.
- Strong physical fitness and manual dexterity.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and site procedures.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.
- Relevant certifications or training are an advantage.
