Thanks to rapid growth and a brand-new expansion, Stadium Stars Day Nursery has recently created more room for young learners! We are an expanding, thriving nursery committed to providing a nurturing, high-energy, and stimulating environment where children can flourish.
To support our expansion, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader to take charge of a room, lead a strong staff team, and sink their teeth into exciting new projects as we grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead & Manage: Oversee daily operations within the room to ensure a safe, engaging, and educational environment for all children.
- Curriculum & Planning: Plan and execute age-appropriate EYFS activities that foster curiosity, learning, and child development.
- Team Leadership: Support, mentor, and inspire staff within the room to maintain high standards of care and education.
- Relationship Building: Establish strong, positive partnerships with children, parents, and team members.
- Compliance: Ensure full alignment with nursery policies, safety procedures, and Ofsted requirements.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (Required).
- EYFS Expertise: Comprehensive working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
- Experience: Previous experience in a leadership or senior practitioner role preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- License: Valid Driving License (Required).
