Duties
- Assist licensed electricians with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment
- Prepare work areas by organizing tools, materials, and safety gear before starting tasks
- Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and wrenches to support electrical work
- Operate power tools like drills, saws, and voltage testers under supervision
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and team members
- Help with running cables, pulling wires, and connecting electrical components as directed
- Maintain cleanliness of work sites and properly store tools and materials after completion of tasks
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in electrical work
- Prior experience or familiarity with electrical systems is a plus but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is essential
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
- Good physical stamina; able to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and work in various environments
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors
