Smart Start Nursery & Childcare is looking for a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly, homely and welcoming setting.

About the role
As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, you will:
- Provide high-quality care and education for children in line with the EYFS
- Create fun, exciting and meaningful learning opportunities
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and staff
- Support children’s individual development, routines and wellbeing
- Help maintain a safe, clean, happy and stimulating environment
- Work as part of a friendly and supportive team
- Bring energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude to each day
We are looking for someone who is:
- Qualified in childcare, ideally Level 2 or Level 3
- Reliable, punctual and committed
- Hardworking and willing to get stuck in
- Fun, caring and confident engaging with children
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Passionate about supporting children to learn, grow and thrive
- Friendly, approachable and professional with parents and colleagues
Hours available
We have contracts available from 16 hours per week up to 48 hours per week.
Working hours are between 7:30am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, on a rota basis.
