Responsibilities
- Safely handle materials using appropriate techniques and equipment, including forklifts when certified.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently, verifying quantities against shipping documents.
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update stock records.
- Assist with stock replenishment, stocking shelves, and maintaining an organized storage area.
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing goods to ensure standards are upheld.
- Support shipping and receiving processes by preparing items for dispatch or receipt, following safety protocols.
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or similar environment.
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety procedures.
- Ability to operate forklift trucks safely; certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory control.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and load/unload tasks.
- Attention to detail for picking, packing, quality checks, and stock accuracy.
