New Start Living Residential Ltd provides high-quality residential care for children and young people aged 7 - 17. We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker to join our new children's home.

As a Senior Support Worker, you'll lead by example, support and motivate your team, and help provide a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic home where children can thrive.

Essential Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a Children's Residential Home
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Passion for supporting children and young people
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015
- Understanding of safeguarding, health & safety and care principles
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Basic administration skills
- Able to maintain confidentiality and remain calm under pressure
- Empathetic, flexible and motivated
Additional Information
- 42 hours per week
- 1–2 sleep-in shifts per week
- On-call rota
- Higher salary includes 2 sleep-ins per week (£70 per sleep)
This role is subject to:
- Enhanced DBS check
- Two satisfactory employment/education references
- One character reference (where applicable)
- Previous childcare references covering the last five years
