The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team in Derby on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our purchase ledger.

What You’ll Be Doing
As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of our finance operations, responsible for:
- Acting as the main point of contact for all Purchase Ledger queries
- Processing invoices and reconciling delivery notes, purchase orders, and invoices
- Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries promptly and effectively
- Setting up and maintaining supplier accounts
- Processing payments (BACS, cheques) and business expense claims
- Completing monthly supplier statement reconciliations
- Supporting ad hoc analysis and reporting requirements
- Managing multi-currency cash processing and online banking activities
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a proactive, organised, and detail-oriented individual with:
- Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger or similar finance role
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
- The ability to manage workloads independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Exchequer (desirable, but not essential – full training will be provided)

Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
