We are currently looking for a reliable and hard-working Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team and help maintain the cleanliness and smooth running of our kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
- Assist with food preparation as directed by the chefs, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
- Keep the kitchen tidy by clearing away kitchen waste and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Help with the delivery and storage of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Support the kitchen team with basic tasks and assist in maintaining a well-organized workspace.
- Ensure that the kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards, and assist with audits as required.
- Assist with any other tasks as directed by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a similar role is beneficial.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards work.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the UK.
