cleaner required for maternity cover 12 months to permanent
3.5 hours a week
a wednesday morning 1.5 hours anytime before 10am
and a friday anytime for 2 hours
cleaning offices and other areas
12.71 per hour paid by the 8th of each month into your bank account
start date is friday the 4th september where you will shadow shift the cleaner who is leaving
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various commercial spaces. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ensure all trash is properly disposed of and recycling procedures are followed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchenettes, break rooms, and other shared spaces
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure availability at all times
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment during cleaning tasks
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and procedures to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and reaching for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency in cleaning standards
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and proper handling techniques
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service
