Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman specialising in Property Maintenance to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of various properties in the Cambridgeshire and Essex area, performing a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks. This role offers an opportunity to utilise diverse technical skills in a dynamic environment, contributing to the safety and aesthetic appeal of our properties. The position is suitable for individuals with a proactive approach and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Duties
- Attend properties to assess maintenance required.
- To undertake and see through to completion any required maintenance work in the properties, for example, perform repairs including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, repair fencing, gardening, and repair/clean guttering.
- Carry out necessary Void works - repair/fit fire doors. Basic remedial works to get the property ready to let.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards of quality.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly.
Skills
- Experience in general property maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, and decorating.
- Excellent command of English for clear communication with team members and clients.
- Customer service skills to handle tenant or client interactions professionally.
- Ability to organise tasks efficiently. This role requires a versatile professional capable of managing multiple aspects of property maintenance while ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional service across all maintenance activities.
Pay: £26,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
