We are seeking a genuine support worker for a weekly contracted 10 hours plus ad-hoc overtime to assist with social outings and cover A/L and staff sickness.
This 10 hours will be to work alongside support workers, to assist the client with day to day tasks and socialising away from the home.
The client has a great sense of humour and thrives around well-formed relationships with support workers.
We would like the applicant to have an awareness of PEG and caring for someone with cerebral palsy. Complex care working history and safe systems of work (Moving and handling) certificates.
A clear DBS is essential.
The right support worker would be our first port of call for covering staff sickness/holidays, as the client would benefit from having familiar faces around him.
