Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Retail Assistant to join our exciting Summer 2026 season at Chessington World of Adventures. In this role, you will be a welcoming face, responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests by assisting with photo sessions and ensuring excellent guest services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service, contributing to a positive and engaging environment for all visitors.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide assistance throughout their visit
- Manage the photo station, ensuring equipment is functioning correctly and ready for use
- Guide guests through the photo-taking process, offering support and suggestions to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the photo area to ensure a welcoming environment
- Handle guest inquiries professionally, addressing any concerns or questions promptly
- Support management in daily operations and guest engagement activities
- Uphold health and safety standards in line with company policies
Experience
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or guest services is desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests
- Experience working in a customer-facing role with a focus on delivering excellent service
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Enthusiasm for creating positive guest experiences and working as part of a team
Pay: £12.71 per hour
