Welsh Speaking Learning Support Assistant – Ruthin
Location: Ruthin, Denbighshire

The Role
As a Welsh Speaking Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Support students with a range of learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
- Communicate confidently in both Welsh and English throughout the school day.
- Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
- Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral staff to support student progress.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be fluent in Welsh and English.
- Have experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential).
- Hold a relevant Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant qualification, or have equivalent experience (desirable).
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be patient, caring and committed to supporting young people.
- Be flexible, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Have a genuine passion for education and inclusion.
