Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiting/Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the smooth operation of the establishment. Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service to guests
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar areas, and service stations throughout shifts
- Assist with food preparation and organisation as needed, adhering to food safety regulations
- Manage cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Ensure guests’ needs are met promptly, addressing any concerns professionally
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure seamless service delivery
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety in all aspects of work, including food handling and personal presentation
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or similar roles is essential
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required; however the role primarily involves Sundays
- A proactive attitude with excellent communication skills and team spirit
