Lycali is an established and expanding independent healthcare service specialising in neurodevelopmental assessments and support for children, young people and adults.
Due to continued growth and increasing demand, we are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist or Community Paediatrician to join our multidisciplinary team as an Associate Neurodevelopmental Assessor.
This role offers flexibility, autonomy and the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team including Clinical Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and ADHD Coaches.
About the Role
You will contribute to high-quality neurodevelopmental assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), working within a multidisciplinary framework.
Assessments may include children, young people and/or adults depending on your experience and scope of practice.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic assessments for Autism and/or ADHD.
- Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and diagnostic decision-making.
- Review developmental histories, questionnaires and supporting evidence.
- Complete diagnostic reports and outcome letters.
- Provide feedback to individuals, families and professionals.
- Work collaboratively with the wider MDT to ensure evidence-based and person-centred practice.
- Maintain professional registration, CPD and clinical governance requirements.
We Are Looking ForEssential
Consultant Psychiatrist OR Community Paediatrician
- Full GMC registration with licence to practise.
- Inclusion on the Specialist Register (Psychiatry applicants).
- Experience assessing Autism and/or ADHD.
- Knowledge of DSM-5 and ICD-11 diagnostic frameworks.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS.
Desirable
- ADOS-2 and/or ADI-R experience.
- DIVA experience
- Experience within private/ NHS neurodevelopmental services.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary diagnostic pathways.
- Independent prescribing qualification (where applicable).
- Experience of Right to Choose or commissioned neurodevelopmental services.
