Established since 1987 in Sherwood, Nottingham, this 24 bedded Home specialises in residential, nursing and dementia care and is seeking a Domestic Cleaner.
The role will involve the following;
- General cleans, mopping, hoovering, polishing, cleaning equipment and furniture etc.
- Deep cleans in all areas of the building - following the cleaning schedule
- Using the carpet machine and hard floor machine
- To launder and iron the clients clothing to a high standard
- To ensure the correct use of the coloured laundry bags
- To be aware of and follow correct protocol to avoid cross infection
- Reporting any faults and repairs that are required
- Must follow the Homes policies, Health and Safety, infection control and COSHH standards
- All training shall be given
- Previous experience in cleaning and laundry is an advantage, especially in a nursing home
- Successful applicants will be CRB checked.
