1 Oak Projects is hiring a Project Manager to run shell construction across our residential and development schemes. This is a hands-on, front-foot role for someone who leads from the ground, not the office.
The role:
You’ll take full ownership of programme, quality and cost on live sites — driving pace, holding standards, and keeping trades moving in the right order. You’ll manage individual operatives and full squads, build and run the programme, and answer for delivery from foundations through to a watertight shell.
What you’ll own:
- Shell construction delivery — groundworks to weathertight, built right first time
- Producing, running and updating live programmes
- Managing people: individual trades and full squads on the tools
- Full quality responsibility — our finish standard is not negotiable
- Full cost responsibility — on budget, no surprises
- Driving a fast-paced site without dropping the ball
What you bring:
- Proven track record managing shell construction on residential/development sites
- Genuine man-management — you get the best out of trades and command respect on site
- Strong programming skills and commercial awareness
- IT literate — comfortable with programmes, reporting and digital tools
- The drive to deliver at pace under pressure
